Septic tank pumping & cleaning

Pumping is the core of the business. The truck removes the sludge at the bottom of the tank and the scum layer on top, not just the liquid in between, so the tank starts over with its full working volume. With the lids off, it鈥檚 also the best time to see the baffles or tees, the inlet and outlet, and the condition of the tank walls. Customers mention that kind of extra look in their reviews.

  • Conventional septic tanks
  • Aerobic system trash and pump tanks
  • Residential and commercial
  • Tank condition noted while the lids are off

System inspections & maintenance

An inspection checks the tank, the lines and the way the system handles water, and gives you a plain account of what was found. Buyers and sellers ask for one before closing, and homeowners ask for one when something feels off. Maintenance visits keep a working system working, on a schedule that suits the tank size and the household.

Line and filter cleaning

Many tanks have an effluent filter at the outlet. It catches solids before they reach the drain field, and when it clogs, water backs up in the house. Cleaning it is a regular part of a service visit. Lines between the house and the tank, and between the tank and the field, can clog with grease, wipes and roots. Clearing them early protects the field, the most expensive part of the system to replace.

Riser installation

Many older tanks have lids a foot or more underground. Each service visit then starts with a shovel. A riser brings the access up to grade with a secured lid, so pumping and inspections are faster, cleaner and less work on the yard. Riser installation is listed on the company鈥檚 Google profile at $300.00; call to confirm what your tank needs.

Septic system installation

Septic system installation is listed on the company鈥檚 Google profile, with the note that price varies with the system鈥檚 requirements. In this part of Texas those requirements come from the soil, the lot and the permitting office: a conventional tank and field on deep enough soil, an aerobic system on clay or thin soil over rock, and extra planning over the Edwards Aquifer recharge zone. Call to talk through your property.

Environmentally responsible disposal

Pumping is only half the job. The other half is what happens to the load. The company lists environmentally responsible waste disposal as part of every service, which matters on ground that drains to the Guadalupe River and the Edwards Aquifer.

Systems we see

Conventional or aerobic, the tank still needs pumping.

Across this area you鈥檒l find conventional systems, a tank and a drain field, on deeper ground, and aerobic systems that treat with air and spray the water out, on thin soil over rock and on slow blackland clay. Both have a tank that collects solids, and both depend on it being pumped on time.

Aerobic systems also need maintenance visits: TCEQ requires reports at least every four months.

Sewage backing up?

Stop the water first.

Stop using water, keep people and pets out of the area, and call (830) 865-6952. Sewage is a health hazard. Never open a tank or lean into one: septic gases can kill in moments.
